For this project, we needed to create a compelling digital experience. Our goal was to seamlessly integrate the physical and digital worlds, enabling smooth interactions with screens. We had the choice to either develop an entirely new digital experience or enhance an existing one.

Objective
Create a service that leverages artificial intelligence to help users efficiently manage and reduce food waste in the United States by seamlessly tracking and managing ingredient expiration dates while generating personalized meal plans and shopping lists to optimize food consumption, all with the ultimate aim of contributing to a more sustainable and responsible food ecosystem.
Research
Food waste in the United States, mainly at the household level, amounts to 70% of total waste, leading to the disposal of 76 billion pounds annually, creating large environmental consequences.

Reflections
This project has deepened my understanding of design research and exposed me to the intricacies of UI design. Moving forward, we aim to integrate grocery stores and their curbside/online shopping services to automate the pantry for mobile orders, enhancing convenience and user experience.
